Michael Gove came along on Friday 27th June to find out more about SHAHT. He had a tour around the building and discovered how we do important work in the preservation and cataloguing of finds from the digs previously done by members past and present, as well as offering hands on experience to members and the general public.
We were able to tell him how we will have to vacate the premises in 2015 and so are currently working closely with Surrey Heath Museum to secure homes both for the storage of all the finds and for our organisation.
Thanks to Mike Hillman ( Windlesham and Camberley Camera Club) for the photos.
